The Challenge

Clients in the HR sector need an engaging training solution for compliance training on PII classifications and data protection. Typical compliance training can be outdated, text-heavy, and lacking in interaction, leading to low engagement and knowledge retention.

Key challenges identified for trainings on PII include:

  • Employees struggle to differentiate Sensitive vs. Non-Sensitive PII
  • Limited awareness of where PII is stored and how it should be handled
  • Minimal interaction, leading to passive learning

The goal was to create a modern, scenario-based training program to improve knowledge retention and compliance.

The Solution

To address these challenges, I designed a self-paced, scenario-based training program that used real-world scenarios, engaging activities, and knowledge checks. The course, built in Articulate Storyline, helps HR professionals identify, classify, and handle PII responsibly while adhering to regulations and company policies.
